Pricing and Ticketing Terms
The total price displayed on the website includes all applicable government taxes.
If there is an increase in fare at the time of ticket issuance due to airlines, errors in pricing from server issues, or payment gateway problems from the bank, Scanmytrip.com reserves the right to cancel the ticket and retain the amount paid as cancellation charges. You will be required to pay any outstanding balance to Easy Trip Planners Ltd. upon notification from Scanmytrip.com to avoid inconvenience.
Full payment must be made prior to booking confirmation.
Infant and Child Ticket Policy
- Infant Tickets: To book an infant ticket, the child must be under 2 years old at the time of travel. Ensure that you have valid proof of age documents when checking in. The infant must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years old. You can book only one infant per adult. If the infant is 24 months or older, you will need to book a child's ticket instead.
- Child Tickets: A child ticket is for children aged between 2 and 12 years. Valid proof-of-age documents are required at check-in, and the child must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or older.
Ticket and Booking Terms
All tickets/bookings issued to customers are also governed by the terms and conditions of the respective airlines or suppliers.
If you cancel a ticket directly with the airline via their website, office, or call center, you must inform Scanmytrip.com in order to process the refund. Please note that Scanmytrip.com does not receive alerts directly from the airlines.
Flight Services and Liability
Scanmytrip.com is not responsible for any delays or cancellations caused by the airline, supplier, or operator.
If the airline, supplier, or operator cancels a service directly, you must notify Scanmytrip.com to initiate the refund process, as we do not receive alerts from the operator.
Booking, Amendment & Cancellation Policy
All bookings made on Scanmytrip.com are subject to cancellation charges imposed by the airline, which may vary based on the flight and booking class.
- Scanmytrip.com cancellation service charges, as indicated on the ticket, will apply if the flight is canceled by the customer or the airline.
- The EMTC insurance fee is non-refundable.
- The premium charged for Zero Cancellation Fee products at the time of booking is non-refundable.
- Convenience fees are non-refundable in all cases.
- Some bookings may be non-refundable, depending on the specific airline's policy.
- Certain bookings cannot be partially canceled as per the airline's policy.
You can cancel bookings either online through the "My Booking" section or by sending an email to Scanmytrip.com. We assist with various booking amendments, but in some cases, you may need to contact the airline directly.
Amendment charges on Scanmytrip.com are subject to change according to the airline's policy, which may vary based on flight timings and booking class.
For cancellations within 24 hours of travel, we recommend that customers contact the airline directly, and then submit the cancellation request on our website to process the refund. Scanmytrip.com is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or amendments made by the airline.
If the customer reschedules their original booking, the original booking is modified, and any cancellation of the original booking will automatically cancel the rescheduled booking.
Refunds for cancellation requests will be processed as soon as the request is received. If the cancellation is made directly with the airline, refunds will be processed after deducting the airline's charges and our service fee. All refunds are subject to processing by the respective airline/service provider. Please note that the convenience fee charged at the time of booking is non-refundable.
For international bookings, if the customer is marked as a no-show for the outbound flight, they will also be considered a no-show for the return flight (if issued under a single PNR). In such cases, customers must contact the airline directly before the no-show. Tickets issued by Scanmytrip.com are valid for one year from the issuance date or as per the airline's policy.
Refund Policy
Scanmytrip.com will process refunds only after receiving a cancellation request or claim from the customer, travel agent, or corporate company via the "My Booking" section or email.
- Refunds for canceled air tickets will be credited directly to the customer's original payment method once the refund is received from the airline.
- If a booking is over six months old, any refund received from the airline may be transferred to the customer's wallet. The customer can then transfer the refund from their wallet to their bank account by logging into their account on Scanmytrip.com at www.Scanmytrip.com.Due to banking procedures, refunds to credit cards may take up to 72 hours, while net banking transactions may take up to 7 days.
- Once the wallet amount is used for any transaction, the remaining balance cannot be transferred to a bank account but can be used for future bookings with Scanmytrip.com.
Refunds in Case of Airline Insolvency
Scanmytrip.com will not be liable for any refunds if the airline ceases operations or declares itself insolvent.
Customers, clients, or agents should not hold Scanmytrip.com liable for refunds in such cases, even if refunds were assured at the time of booking.
Based on assurances from airlines, or suppliers, Scanmytrip.com may sometimes issue refunds to customers. However, Scanmytrip.com reserves the right to recover any refunded amounts if the airline shuts down, becomes non-operational, or goes bankrupt.

International bookings made through Scanmytrip.com are subject to visa requirements, including transit visas, which the user must obtain according to the needs of their travel and the regulations of the countries they will visit or transit through.
Scanmytrip.com is not responsible for any issues, including the inability to travel due to visa requirements. Furthermore, Scanmytrip.com will not provide any refunds if the user is unable to utilize their booking due to visa issues. Refunds, if applicable, will be governed by the terms of the booking and cancellation policy. The user understands and agrees that Scanmytrip.com merely facilitates visa services and is not liable for any delays in visa processing by the embassy. In the event that the embassy rejects the user's visa application, the user acknowledges that such rejection is solely due to the user's circumstances, and Scanmytrip.com holds no responsibility for the rejection.

Unaccompanied Children
Children under 12 years of age will not be accepted for travel unless accompanied by an adult aged at least 18 years. The child must be seated next to the accompanying adult, who is solely responsible for the child’s well-being during the trip. The adult is also responsible for ensuring that the seating arrangements accommodate both the child and the accompanying adult.
